My friend Jace and I went out to take some pictures tonight. I was too excited to wait until tomorrow to put the images together, so here I am at 2 am. I'll try to say as little as possible since my mind is a little fuzzy right now. The process is called Light Painting. Basically you choose your subject and take several shots of it with different areas exposed to light. You combine these pictures in Photoshop, and this is what you get. I took a little over 100 images, but the final product contains about 10-15 images. The pros who do this sort of thing usually have around 150 different pictures in their final image. I'm definitely not to that point yet, but it was fun to experiment with the process. I learned that I'll probably change a lot of things next time I attempt this, but I feel like it was a fairly successful first try.
The next two pictures I took while camping in the Uintahs. This lake is called Wall lake. It was a very pretty area, and I wish I would have taken more pictures, so I guess that means I'll have to go back sometime.
P.S. I feel like Blogger always makes my pictures appear darker than they really are. Annoying.
